Áine Rose Daly Instagram – For those of you that don’t know, I play a character called Robyn in the BBC show @boilingpointofficial . In episode 4 of the series, Robyn decides to open up to her boss (played by the wonderful @thatgarylamont ) and share what she’s been going through with her health recently and how it’s been affecting her work. She doesn’t really know where to begin or what words to use at first but then finally shares that she is living with Crohn’s and has had bouts of bowel urgency and ultimately incontinence resulting in her being late for work on a very important day, not to mention missing a big audition for a movie. For Inflammatory Bowel Disease awareness week this year, Crohn’s and Colitis UK are encouraging people to, just like Robyn, find the right words to share their experiences. Bowel disease can be hard to talk about so Crohn’s and Colitis UK are promoting their free talking toolkit to help you through those difficult conversations.
