The U.S. Supreme Court had the opportunity to make clear that federal law requires access to abortion in an emergency, regardless of a state’s abortion ban — and they chose not to. They failed us again. This fight isn’t over.

Today’s SCOTUS decision means mifepristone remains available in states where abortion is legal. We’re relieved, but this case isn’t over yet. Mifepristone shouldn’t be at risk in the first place. Everyone deserves to get the medicine they need. – – Este caso nunca debió haber comenzado. Todas las personas deberían poder obtener la atención médica que necesitan, sin excepciones.

What a joy to have joined @TheSkimm’s pod to chat about how I show up “9 to 5ish.” Even if you’re new to the movement or a tenured advocate, optimism can be hard to find in today’s landscape. Listen to my “9 to 5ish” episode on how I find my motivation to fight every day wherever you get your podcasts!
43% of women of reproductive age are living in states that ban them from fully deciding what happens to their bodies, lives, and futures. That’s 28 million too many. In this most consequential election, #WeDecide what’s next.
What an amazing time spent with the team of @PPGreaterOH. The dedication y’all put into ensuring patients have the compassionate, high-quality health care services they deserve is nothing short of admirable. Thank you for bringing the energy every day (and that A uterus drawing!)
A wonderful day to be in Michigan supporting future Senator @elissa.slotkin with @reprofreedomforall’s @mintimm and @emilys_list’s @jessicamackler! Proud to support her as she pushes against the extreme agenda seeking to roll back reproductive rights.

@alexismjpp never had taking over @plannedparenthood on her life’s bingo card. But, as a woman whose family tree is full of inspirational women, it’s no surprise that Alexis has been able to steer the organization through one of the most tumultuous times for women’s health care access. On this episode of She Pivots, Alexis shares the stories of her grandmother and mother who paved the way for her success, pivoting from teaching at Yale and Wesleyan to organizing, working at the intersection of politics and hip hop, founding and growing the Perception Institute, and becoming the leader of Planned Parenthood. She also details what the reproductive health care landscape looks like now and what’s ahead in the fight for abortion rights. Listen to Alexis’s episode now! 🎧 Link 🔗 in bio and stories ✨

We talk a lot about corporations needing to use their power to support the reproductive rights movement — and I’m excited to inspire it. Sitting down with Lyft’s Heather Foster was a treat as we pushed for more companies to put their workers first when evaluating the consequences of reproductive health restrictions.
