Alice Evans Instagram – This so sad. Bernard didn’t just light up a room, he was the room. Rarely have I met someone so vibrant, so spirited, so vivacious. He could talk to you about literally any subject that came up and attach uproarious anecdotes to illustrate. He had such fierce opinions and was so passionate about expressing them. Some people are just so… alive that it’s hard to imagine them being gone.
I worked with Bernard on a rather ill-fated movie back in 2006 in Luxembourg. So much went wrong on that project that we spent most of our time waiting around to find out if we would be filming the next day or if the project had finally collapsed.
I have such good memories from that time and Bernard you were a big part of it. Likewise @officialalisonking, @boydbilly, @garethellisunwin, @lukemably, Eva Birthistle, Tim McInnerny.
I feel so desperately sad for his wife and child. For his close friends and loved ones. I’m sure they do, but I hope they know how much fun and love and beautiful memories he brought into to the universe of those he touched along his journey through life.
