Alice Evans Instagram – Can’t work out exactly when this was – I think some time between first and second baby – so 2011/2012?
I remember initially wearing the dress with a black slip underneath -but it just looked like a basic black dress so I ditched the slip and it came to life. On the night I remember getting some wide-eyed looks – I imagine for the risqué element of it. Funny how attitudes have changed in little over 10 years!
FWIW I am neither for or against see-through clothing on red carpets. Each to their own and I firmly believe this. Although I do feel a little icky about hyper-sexualized poses in magazines. I always turned those shoots down. I wouldn’t be entirely happy for my kids to do them either although at the end of the day it would be their decision. It’s an interesting discussion. I find it hard to untie my intellectual feelings on it from my visceral knee-jerk ones.
