i believe there is a piece of me from 30 years ago in this case, in this instrument that holds so many memories.
and i think she’d be really happy to emerge here in nashville all those decades later, and see the life we have now 💫🎶

the extraordinary @johnboymusic not only honored me by writing a song with me for my upcoming christmas record, but today, he made a special trip and drove all the way to nashville to SING VOCALS on it!!
i love this song we made so much. it’s one of a kind and irreverent and has that immediately identifiable john paul white lilt to it. and now to have one of my favorite voices – one that i’ve listened to thru countless road trips, runs, daily soundtracks – on a record of mine…! 🕺

big weekend plans?
discovering my broccoli is making broccoli was a highlight 🥦 it’s just got to make it fast before it gets too hot for it to taste good… c’mon. you can do it 💪
i find it so grounding to spend a few hours harvesting, cleaning, prepping and storing home grown organic greens 🥬 and making juice for next 3 days using store bought organic carrots, celery, ginger, beets, lemon and cucumber, combined with my own cilantro, parsley, kale, collards, arugula and cabbage.
the before and after shows how much of the produce i used to make 36 oz of juice – i use the @tribestlife greenstar 5 and it gets the job done by extracting as much juice as possible, without heating or damaging it, so you can store it in the fridge. i’ve posted about them so often they gave me a code: WITT15 gets you 15% off.
