On May 22nd we had the pleasure of being all together to celebrate Daniel’s birthday – but that’s not all. The drumset dream team includes @kuschdrums – our beloved DJ Oatmeal and drum tech extraordinaire, and believe it or not, May 22nd is Kusch’s birthday too!
I am not a big fan of getting surprised but I LOVE surprising other people. So we set our sneaky plans in place to surprise Daniel and Kusch with a birthday party before the show in Jakarta.
Much to MY surprise (a good one for once), when we flipped open the birthday cake box, inside was also a big, blue, vegan, anniversary cake for me! Can you believe it was exactly 10 years to the date since my first show with @archenemyofficial in Bucharest?! 🤯
Thank you so much to my band and crew brothers for remembering this special occasion and for showing me that surprises can be good 💙 I’m so happy I got to commemorate such a milestone with (almost) the whole family present! It really meant a lot to me!
