Amanda Leve Instagram – Easy at home marshmallow recipe without all the processed junk!
Health bonus- bovine gelatin has great health benefits especially for hair, skin, and nails!
I use the Caramelt protein flavor but any would work!
Ingredients:
🐂 3 tbsp grass-fed bovine gelatin
🍁 3/4 cup organic maple syrup
🧂 1/4 tsp salt
💧 1 cup filtered water
💪 1 scoop of @earthfemuscle protein
✨Step 1: Combine gelatin and 1/2 cup of water together in a mixing bowl and set aside
✨Step 2: Mix together maple syrup, salt, and 1/2 cup water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook for about 7-8 minutes (Don’t let it go above 240 degrees)
✨Step 3: Pour & mix the heated maple syrup into the gelatin bowl. Whip on low til it cools slightly (about 1 min) then add a scoop of protein. Continue to whip on high for about 10 minutes or until the mixture becomes thicker and lighter in color.
✨Step 4: Pour into a lined pan and let it sit in the fridge for about 1-2 hours to set. Cut into pieces and enjoy! 😋
