Amanda Palmer Instagram – Liz Grammaticas appreciation thread. This woman fell back into my life like a star from a perfect planet a couple years ago and I stopped can’t believe my luck. We ran into one another at a friend’s engagement party in Brooklyn, found out we were in the same neighborhood (ish…upstate 40 minutes of driving means….neighborly) and lo and behold, I needed sometime to help run a venue. History ensued. We are closing the venue, but the love is still flooding us all. She doesn’t know I was taking this picture as she strode around the cemetery across the street on the final day of our little venue, @gravesidevariety, looking for the two side-by-side headstones that you can see in slide two (they were finally found), but I don’t think she’d mind. Liz, thank you for everything you’ve done for me, this venue, these people, these artists, these kids, these divorcing women, these grieving souls, these lost souls, this town, this constellation of hearts. You’re a wonderful connecting thread of this universe and may you stitch on forever, using whatever method (love, cookies, Taylor Swift art, whatever) suits your fancy. Wander on.
