We celebrate the ability to create. To be weird. To be extra. To be dramatic. To be silly. To be honest. To be brave. To have the audacity. To learn. A space and permission to share in the human experience. From Broadway to Off-Broadway to regional theatres, community theatres, school theatres… all of it. Every single theatre maker out there. Every little kid obsessed with showtunes, giving performances of a lifetime in the shower. The nerds in full beat belting out “La Vie Boheme” at @dennysdiner after the shows in highschool and crying as @theandreaburns sings “I’m Not Afraid of Anything” every day in the car on the way to school.
Shoutout to those kids. It never gets old.
