II. Australia jest pierwszym krajem, w którym wprowadzono powszechne, bezpłatne szczepienia przeciw HPV. Szacuje się, że do 2028 roku w Australii problem nowotworów szyjki macicy zostanie całkowicie wyeliminowany ze zdrowia publicznego.
III. Prawie 4000 kobiet w Polsce rocznie dowiaduje się, że ma raka szyjki macicy? Za 70% przypadków odpowiadają najbardziej onkogenne typy wirusa HPV. Niezwykle ważne jest więc, abyś regularnie, najlepiej co 1-3 lata, wykonywała cytologię i test DNA HPV.
1. KAŻDY, KTO SKOŃCZYŁ 9 LAT MOŻE SIĘ ZASZCZEPIĆ
2. Po pierwsze szczepienia są przeznaczone zarówno dla kobiet, jak i dla mężczyzn. I nie, wcale nie dlatego, że ci drudzy tylko przenoszą HPV na partnerki. Oni także mogą zachorować, bo konsekwencje wirusa to nie tylko nowotwór szyjki macicy.
3. Po drugie – wiek. Szczepienie można przyjąć od 9. roku życia wzwyż. W wypadku wszystkich preparatów dostępnych w Polsce wskazania nie określają górnej granicy wieku.
4. Owszem, według rekomendacji WHO optymalnym momentem na zaszczepienie się jest okres przed inicjacją seksualną – wtedy istnieje największe prawdopodobieństwo, że organizm nie miał jeszcze kontaktu z wirusem, a to pozwala osiągnąć najlepsze efekty zdrowotne.
5. Osoby 18+, 30+ itd. nadal mogą zaszczepić się przeciwko HPV!
6. Skuteczność szczepień potwierdzono nawet u 55-latków!
7. Przed szczepieniem nie musisz robić testu na HPV. Jeśli jesteś już nosicielką/lem któregoś z typów HPV, szczepienie po prostu nie uodporni Cię na niego. Za to nadal może dać Ci ochronę przed pozostałymi szczepami.
