Ann Shoket Instagram – I chose my word of the year 6 weeks ago, ordered a bracelet with the word stamped on it to see how it felt…GROWTH. I like it, but it’s different for me. Usually my words have some action, forward momentum. This is not about where I’m going, or even how i will get there. This is about taking all the twists and turns that I couldn’t possibly see coming and using them to get deeper, smarter, more aware of myself and the world around me.
These last two years have been life-changing for me. I launched a media company with a mission to create a New Power, I acquired a community of women who are leading the way. We’ve led amazing conversations and sometimes, just held each other’s hands (virtually). GROWTH is about optimism for the future and trust that we will figure out how to make it meaningful—together.
