Ann Shoket Instagram – I was late for breakfast. But when someone shows up for you, you show up for them. So I dropped a kid downtown and got an Uber uptown and raced into the fancy restaurant where this gorgeous group of women were meeting and greeting California State Controller @malia.cohen . In about 10 minutes we were all rallying around each other and offering contacts, counsel and promising to do more—for her and each other. This is the power of #togetherness. An over scheduled morning turned into a lesson on how we build power by giving it to others.
