It’s beyond rewarding, beyond beautiful, beyond what I could’ve imagined, and has also taken me almost a year and a half to find what I’m calling, ‘my mama groove.’ Nurturing Rozlo has always felt entirely second nature and effortless, but the mental side of motherhood… the side that looks like pushing back deep postpartum anxiety, attempting to embrace a new version of myself that I’m still getting to know, monitoring personal expectations hourly/daily, and balancing a whole new world of constantly changing rhythms — that. Is. Hard. To every parent and mama, I honor you. I honor the sacrifice that is both necessary and Godly, glorious and generous, lifelong and loving. Babies are a GIFT, and I’m celebrating all of us this morning and the adventure stories we’re in 🙌🏻✨From a place of a need for empowerment, I definitely spoke out loud for awhile, “My name is Aqueela, and I do hard things.” 😂 highly recommend this if you need it. Mamas, all of the hard things are worthy of the hard. Without question ♥️
