Ashley Blaine Featherson Instagram – Growth Is A Journey🌱 I’m officially 15 months into my 24 month hair journey with @hairbytonya @dreamgirlshair using the @healthyhaircaresystem & W O W! I’ve come such a long way✨(First Picture: March 2024 — Last Picture: December 2022) As I sat in the salon chair I had an epiphany that really got me in check… I excitedly come into my hair appointments every three months without a doubt in my mind that my hair has grown. I TRUST that my hair and body are doing their thing. I TRUST that I’m in good hands with those I’ve entrusted during this journey. I am always delighted…never shocked that I’ve come this far in my HAIR GROWTH journey. I’ll admit. I tend to worry about a lot. I’m working on it…but I realized…if I can so easily trust that my HAIR will grow, why is it that I sometimes worry if I’m growing personally and professionally? That my life and career at times feel stagnant? The truth is, nothing is ever stagnant, energy at the very least is always moving & my hair is proof that growth may take time but it is 1000% happening. Also, it’s just not true. It’s a lie! I may not be where I want to be but life looks a lot different today than it did a decade ago. It even looks different from last year, thanks to GROWTH & a true belief in myself even though at times it feels like I don’t have much more to give. I push through. I always have. Growth usually doesn’t happen in every area of your life at the same time so I’m being more mindful of honoring the areas where it is clearly happening and trusting that I’m on the path to not feeling as imbalanced & when growth feels more “even”. Sometimes our growth is at a snails pace & other times it’s a spurt. I want to get to a place where no matter which pace, I’m at peace because it’s simply happening at all. Disappointment has been an all too familiar feeling. However, the joys on the other side have far outweighed the temporary disappointments. So, if you’re in a season of feeling low & life feels stagnant and confusing…this is your loving reminder that you’ve been lower & if you made it out before, you can do it again!
