Barbara Niven Instagram – Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there, and to all the father figures and mentors who are making a difference in the lives of children.
Once again, I am up in Vancouver where my father was born. Every time I land here I feel my father around me and get beautiful little signs and messages from him. I know he is my angel, and I feel safe knowing he is here. 
This photo is of the sky at sunset last year when we were wrapping up Chesapeake Shores. I toasted the end of the show with Dad’s favorite Yellowtail wine, and as I watched, a cloud formed in the sky in front of me. It literally looked like an angel with wings. Can you see it? Coincidence? Or a beautiful manifestation of love and light that never fades.
Dad loved music and lived for playing his guitar and harmonica. I picture him doing that right now, making beautiful music up in heaven.
