Now that we’ve gathered over 125K signatures in Serbia, we want to wake up Europe and avail the locals the opportunity to address European Parliament and have their voices heard. By sighning this petition we will make Europe aware this is not just a local issue, not even just a Serbian issue. This mine has the potential to damage transboundary water sources as well. We don’t want to be 40 years down the track and fighting this in court because our citizens and those of surrounding nations have been poisoned. We want to take care of this now. Prijatelji, imamo novu peticiju koja je adresirana na Evropski parlament. Želimo da damo priliku lokalnim aktivistima da se njihovi glasovi čuju i u Evropi. Potpisivanjem ove peticije želimo da ukažemo na veličinu ovog problema – ovo nije samo lokalni problem, čak nije ni samo problem Srbije. Ovaj rudnik ima potencijal da uništi i prekogranične vodene izvore. Ne želimo da nam narednih 40 godina prođe u borbi na sudu zbog trovanja naših sugrađana i građana susednih država.
