Brandy Ledford Instagram – What an incredible day it was at the Friendly House luncheon last Saturday! I had the privilege of co-chairing the event with my gorgeous friend Rika Broccoli (@ayame__007 )❤️. We supported women in recovery from substance abuse and celebrated the inspiring stories of our honorees: Eloise Jean Black, a fashion designer and philanthropist; @yoshikiofficial , a rock star and humanitarian; and John Paul DeJoria, an entrepreneur, philanthropist and superhero whose award was graciously presented by dear friends @angusmitchell_ and Keely Brosnan. @eloisedejoria You are all champions and I thank you for making the world a better place❣️
I was also blessed to have my family and my best girlfriends by my side, who always lift me up and make me feel #strongertogether. I am grateful to be a sober mom & wife, and to have a second chance at life thanks to the grace of God.
I also want to acknowledge executive director @christinasimos , who is a passionate advocate for women in recovery and it was incredible to hear from the Grateful Hearts, the women who shared their testimonies at the event. They are the true heroes of this cause and I admire their courage and resilience.
One of the highlights of the event was the amazing performance by @bishopbriggs , who sang her hit song “River” with so much power and emotion. She is one of my favorite artists and I was thrilled to see her live.
Another highlight was my sons favorite part of the day, watching the hilarious hosting by Rosie O’Donnell🙌🏼 We love you @rosie
