It’s been said to turn down the volume when your inner critic comes at you, to interrupt thought patterns that are habitually harmful, to let go of moments that have passed – so one is present and not stuck in the past or living in the future.

Practicing focusing on what is working, on gratitude, and our blessings has a profound shift on my mindset and energy levels.

Perhaps today, try noticing if what you are thinking about is helping or hurting you. And if it is helping you, then keep running at it. And if it’s hurting you… then choose to change the channel or turn down the volume.
