Cassi Thomson Instagram – Sequoia 😭 yesterday was a huge day for us — our first time under saddle together after 1 year (almost to the day) of partnership.
The bond between @elisabethhowerofficial and Sequoia is very strong and it took a lot for Sequoia to accept me on her back. When she was asked to move away from Elisabeth she got quite escalated and afraid.
In order to get her to move away from her safe person, I had to find the confidence in myself and let her know she can trust me, too.
We ended on a beautiful note, walking away from Elisabeth together calm and united. 🥹
