Epic final day of the Three Capes Track – unexpectedly the longest of the trip (should really read the fine print) – through ancient tree ferns & glorious cloud forest, then along cliff tops & coastal heath, past an impossibly calm southern ocean on a blue sky almost windless day. The optional “undulating” two hour trek to Cape Hauy was worth the still aching calf muscles. Huge thanks to @abolgie for embracing her second ever hike with a vengeance & for organising another truly wonderful Tassie adventure, along with whatever she said to the weather gods who more than smiled upon us 🙏🏻 So much more of Tassie yet to see. We’ll be back….boots and all.
