Christie Whelan Browne Instagram – My beautiful, kind, selfless and amazing mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer. I’ve watched her nurse and support her beloved sisters, mother, father and niece when they all fought courageous battles. She shows kindness EVERYWHERE. Loving her family so much, doting on her grandchildren and adoring Duke with all her heart, Knitting scarves for children in remote aboriginal communities, baking for friends who are struggling, always checking in on people she loves, cheering for their wins, shedding tears for their losses. My mother is incredible. And I’m so sad she has to face this battle now. I feel so stuck that I’m doing the only thing I know how to right now and that is to raise money for cancer research. I’m going to do it through the incredible ONJ wellness centre and I would absolutely love you to donate for me to walk 5k’s in honour of my amazing mother and try and make something positive come from the ugliness of a cancer diagnosis.
