We followed two explorer women who became the first women to overwinter in the Arctic without men. Imagine total darkness during the winter, and complete isolation. Their intended 9 month journey lasted 19 months (!!). The tough lessons learned are already helping @nasa understand how to help astronauts endure long term isolation.
