Cynthia Koh Instagram – A small traveling tip from me about currency denomination. I just ran into
a problem and it can’t be solved no matter how. Tried spending it at souvenir shops, shopping centers … no one wants to take that note. They will say it’s too big, they don’t have change. Like I’m an alien or 洗黑钱 person carrying this foreign note they have never seen.
Thankfully I have debit cards and credit cards. But still there are some services that they prefer cash. Sharing it here in case you are coming to Europe.
