Deepti Naval Instagram – Happy to be back in my nest at Studio Barshai . . . A few days of uncluttered evenings, and then I intend getting into the working of my next book. But for now, it will be a four day shoot in Narkanda before I can wind back to my little writing den here. This photograph is from the fifteenth year of my life when I visited the valley. I’ve written a lot about the Kullu Holidays in my book ‘A Country Called Childhood’, and haven’t yet lost my heart for the mountains. Last evening was at Kothi, a magical darkening of the sky as it started to drizzle. I thought of capturing the moment with my camera but then decided to let it be, and just walked along . . .
