𝗗𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 this past weekend. We strongly appreciate all our colleagues and friends who worked tirelessly in front & behind the scenes to keep the AAD DEI initiative alive. We appreciate the overwhelming show of support for diversity by members from literally all backgrounds, race, religion, ethnicity, gender & sexual identities that stood side by side to make this possible.
This was not the first time DEI has come under attack in our specialty but we hope it’s the last…either way, we stand ready.
A special thanks to @drdinamd @jeaninedownie @drwendyrobertsyouthbooster for taking the initiative to write the resolutions that lead to the outcome we now celebrate.
