Ellie Holcomb Instagram – One of my friends connected to the Covenant Community sent this verse to me last week, as we were all grieving, remembering , and holding onto hope. She told me it was the verse she was clinging to for the week. I thought that was so beautiful, and had never honestly taken notice of that specific scripture, so I held onto it as well. Y’all. I don’t have enough words in this caption to tell all the ways that God placed treasure in the darkness of last week. It was stunning. The treasures didn’t take away the ache. They didn’t erase the pain of the anniversary of that tragic day, but they reminded me that we never walk through any dark night alone. I hope that this verse reminds you of the way Love gets the final word, no matter what. Not death. Not darkness. Not suffering. Love and Light win out in the end, but even as we walk through the dark nights of the soul, there is hidden treasure there to remind us where we came from, to remind us we are seen and loved and known by name.
