I really struggle with controlling the finished shape of the pots I throw. My skill is definitely more in the decoration side, but I LOVE making things and am happy to try and fail. I was absolutely DELIGHTED when I managed to make this moon shaped dragon jar after a million attempts. My concentration face was Badddddd… My pride was cut a bit short when my other half asked if it was an urn for a hamster. Maybe I need to work on the size next Anyway- I will be putting this little jar and my ‘Night Owl’ candle holder into my online shop this Saturday (11th) at 7pm GMT

This is the bin of sadness. Clay is a wonderful thing and can be recycled, but I’d already decorated the mug in this bin before I saw there was a crack on the rim. There’s a little bird in there too I knocked off the edge of the kiln while I was loading it. #potterydisaster
