Gabourey Sidibe Instagram – Happy 1st Father’s Day to @brandontour who wanted these babies so much, he would’ve carried them for us. He knew they’d be twins before our 1st ultrasound. Every night he talked to them through my belly button. He made them a playlist to make them dance in there. He made every appointment and listened to all the doctors instructions as I slowly became too dumb with Mommy Brain to pay attention. He was already a father, before they were even born. Now that they’re here, he is present for every feeding, giving each baby equal quality time and attention. He fathers them and he fathers me too. Making sure I’m drinking water, nap, making sure I eat, reminding me not lift anything too heavy, etc. He’s not just a good father because he does any of those things but because he is consistently considering, caring and showing up for all of us. It’s been an honor watching his growth from Man, to Husband, to Dad. Cooper, Maya and I are so lucky to have him!! 👶🏽💕🧔🏻♂️💕👶🏻
