Had a wonderful time at the Feminist Border Film Festival at the New Mexico State University with a second screening of my film Legacy and was honored to speak on a panel about Media Making and Activism. Being part of an academic film festival allows me to ease my imposter syndrome a wee bit.
I also enjoyed a thought-provoking presentation on the archetypes of the Acid Western and picked up some great stickers and zines.
This weekend was a reminder that no art is neutral. It either upholds or changes the status quo.
