P.s What we do to cultivate ourselves is what we do to govern the world. And among the arts we cultivate, the most subtle of all is HONESTY, which is the beginning and end of cultivation. When we embrace the truth, the world enjoys peace. When we turn our backs on the truth, the world suffers.
هنگامي كه فرزانه حكومت مي كند،
مردم به ندرت متوجه وجودش مي شوند.
پس از فرزانه بهترين حاكم، رهبري است كه دوستش دارند.
پس از او فرمانروايي كه از او مي ترسند
و بدترين، كسي است كه او را خوار مي شمارند.
اگر به مردم اعتماد نكنيد،
آن ها را غير قابل اعتماد مي سازيد.
فرزانه سخن نمي گويد، عمل مي كند.
وقتي كارش به انجام مي رسد،
مردم مي گويند: ” چه جالب، ما خود آن را انجام داده ايم! ”
