Hannah Einbinder Instagram – being a standup comedian is the only dream i’ve ever had. well, besides that reoccurring dream where i’m in the blender section of a ROSS dress for less and then i realize I’m late for a test and a hole in the floor opens up and i’m being sucked into the pits of the underworld and then when i call out for help from a woman who looks like my mom from the back turns around and she’s alien from alien vs predator- anyhow… for many years, being on stage was the only relief i felt from the incessant bad feeling inside (i’m better now). standup was where i could feel like i was of some value to other people. this is, of course, a horrifically unhealthy coping mechanism. can you imagine if i wasn’t so gifted? that woulda been trouble! collaborating with my dearest @sandyhonig @realadambricker @j.huggins_ @bricebradley and @lainecarey on the aesthetic vision for the special was ecstacy. the crew, the gifted artisans who brought our vision to life are extraordinary. in the years since i began working on this hour, i died a million times. and a million times i was reborn. now, as I release this hour, the final cycle is complete. everything must go. 🥀❤️‍🔥
