Harleen Sethi Instagram – Cos it’s the last day of a very special year, there’s something I’m very grateful for, feel honoured by and proud of, that it happened to me so early on in my acting journey- The absolute privilege of being a JURY MEMBER for the INTERNATIONAL EMMY’s 2023. Thanks to @iemmys @samkhan @juggernaut_in10 for this incredible opportunity & platform where I got to be on the other side & judge for myself looking at all these incredible performances by incredible artists – “What is it that makes a particular performance stand out?”. We weren’t allowed to discuss & had to rely on our own understanding of ‘the art of acting’.. and honestly what it came down to after watching varied portrayals of characters by actors I dint quite know was that it all boils down to one thing- “How does he/she make me feel?” Its also what we as humans leave behind.. Our Legacy- ‘How do we make people around us feel?’ 2023 is about to end, so let’s celebrate all our learnings from this year, be grateful for all that we achieved & failed at & take kindness, compassion, empathy & generosity forward to 2024..
