A one-shot means that the scene was recorded from the beginning until the end, without any cuts or edits. You can’t tell, but I’m wearing an ear piece on one ear, so I can clearly hear the pianist playing upstairs. We shot this scene eight times, so I had to sing this song without stopping eight times in a row. 🎤
The true stars of this scene is the DP @matthewhalla and the boom operator @bricksblocksnbeats . They had to make sure they followed me without getting in the way of each other, and often times running backwards to keep up with my fast-pace walking.
