Been on this hike many times but today Becca and I decided to take a different path we’ve never tried before. Not sure where it was going to lead, we kept going. Sometimes in life it’s safer and easier to take the path already known. There’s a lot of fear and unknowns trying something new. Sometimes it can lead to a dead end and you have to turn around. But SOMETIMES, that new path can lead you to a field of yellow flowers everywhere. A super bloom. Blossoming and thriving. And my god, was it worth it. 🌼

In 2018 I started dating my beautiful gf @beccatilley and wrote a song about her.
I wrote a song called Hungry Heart with @joejaniak and @seandouglas .
The song was so special to me and I thought about releasing it on ‘expectations’ but I decided it needed it’s own moment. My dream was to collab with a DJ/producer who could bring it to life in the dance world. I believed in this song so much. So we waited.
In 2020, I sent the song to Steve Aoki and he loved it. Then the pandemic happened and the song was on pause.
In 2022 Steve hit up the incredible Galantis and asked if he wanted to take the song to the finish line.
It’s 2023, 5 years later we released it and Hungry Heart is officially #1 on the dance charts.
