Helle Thorning-Schmidt Instagram – Funeral in Århus. Today I want to remember and honour my Inge. Not related by blood but very much family. Inge and my mum sat next to each other in 1st grade in 1943 when they were 6 yo and have been friends ever since. That’s a long time. Inge was one of those special adults who were truly interested in us children. She was there when I went to yet another dance competition in Brøndby or Hvidovre, or when I sang in yet another choir in Ishøj. She listened when I spoke when I was a little girl and made me think I had a voice.
