Imelda May Instagram – I’m sad to hear of the passing of the great Françoise Hardy…. an inspiration and a respected friend. She was such a remarkable singer, songwriter, performer and a highly intelligent, complex, clever, charismatic woman. She moved the heart of the listener. Her words full of truth, her melodies so sweet and her delivery delicate yet strong were only complemented by her presence and beauty. She was honest with her opinions and advice so her praise or critique was true and therefore valued. She was a part of my life story and for that I’m honoured.
