In other words; it was hard leaving home ~ But in the end Im HONORED to be asked By my brother @_shannonsanders to sing our song FLOWERS for Diane Nash and the naming of the square in her honor. Diane Nash (GOOGLE THE NAME) She paved many of the bricks we walk on today. I was hugged by 15 civil rights activists all over the age of 80 and loved on so hard. People enjoyed our song “FLOWERS. I hope Dianne did. BUT! all EVERYONE was talking about afterwards ~ was my CHANT “ would the ancestors be pleased” (featuring @anthonyqdasinger ~ who i met on IG coupel weeks ago if we don’t support each other who will? ) There are SO many more where chants where that came from (if u came to the Love Letter Show … you know) including “Born for this mission” (walk thru the fire) 🔥 More on THAT soon. But for now I’m still healing. I slept the rest of the day away and woke up with puffy eyes and sore feet ~ but it was worth the Struggle. I guess the rehab of my mind and spirit aren’t complete JUST yet. I trust divine timing. BUT FOR DIANE NASH AND THE ELDERS I’LL BRAVE ALL THE COLD AMD THE FIRE … TO BE THERE. until then ~ send me good vibes and I’ll send you some back. Thank you Nashville.
