The first clip is from Black Swan pas de deux, when I won Grand Prix at Serge Lifar Competition in my beloved Kiev National Opera in 1994, dancing alongside the talented Gennadiy Jalo.
The second clip is from the World Ballet Gala in Tokyo in 2004 with the magnificent Jose Manuel Carreño.
There are a lot of incredible dancers that are executing multiple pirouettes throughout their fouettés. But what is greatly overlooked in my opinion, is the ability to do 32 fouettés in one place (as much as possible)
Which my school taught me since the beginning. I try to instill this with all my students.
