Jennifer Walcott Instagram – Life has a funny way of working out. After losing our sweet mini a few months ago, I prayed for another dog. Today, I visited a rescue, only to find out it was the wrong one. Embarrassed, I texted my friend for the name of her rescue. Ironically, she had two pups she thought I might like and asked me to come by. When I arrived, my friend’s husband was there to meet me. Their rescue was clean and comfortable, mainly catering to elderly and sick dogs, but they happened to have puppies too. These pups had been left on someone’s porch in a birdcage. The mother had passed away, and sadly, they lost one littermate who had candy wrappers in her stomach. One pup has been adopted, and one is still available. I can only adopt puppies because of my Cane Corso. Remember, hesitation can mean missed opportunities.
