Jenny Beavan Instagram – I am still reeling from the extraordinary experience which is the Camerimage Festival in Toruń. We were only there for 4 days – how anyone can last the full 7 days is a mystery to me, it is SO ‘full on’! Events, films, panels, talks, camera equipment … parties! Amazing. I was incredibly honoured to be awarded the ‘Golden Frog’ for Unique Visual Sensitivity’ (could there be a nicer award than a frog?). I met wonderful old friends and new, saw amazing historic Toruń, learned about Copernicus in the fascinating museum and the talk on the colliding of science and film with Walter Murch and Professor Leszek Blaszkiewicz. My daughter Caitlin and I were wonderfully well looked after by Daria Piech and all the Camerimage crew. Next year … if I gather my strength!
