Jessie J Instagram – I am 36 this month.
I will put music out again.
I will go on tour again.
I will go to the parties and events.
But for now.
This is all I want.
I don’t want to miss it.
I don’t want someone else to do it for me.
I waited a life time for this.
I know some people can do both sooner than I have and I think that’s wonderful if it’s right for them.
And I know one day that will be me.
I’m grateful to still get the work I do. And I am doing the amount of shows that fill me up, pay the bills and keep me sane and balanced. BUT… This little boy right here gives me more purpose than I have ever felt.
So I’m not rushing.
I’m letting go of the pressure I feel from so many people.
I let go of the guilt I feel.
And I’m giving myself full permission to enjoy THIS moment and not spend my time thinking about what’s next for me my career.

For now it’s what’s right for me and my little family.

And trust me I know not many people have the luxury to stay home with their baby. Or have a hands on devoted partner @chanancolman 🫂

So I don’t take it for granted that I can and do. I’m one lucky lady. 🌈
