Julia Aks Instagram – Hey friends.
These past few months have been a gut punch to the soul. Reality check after reflection after reality check and so on. Very painful, never easy, and so so necessary. Many of you started following me because of my fun videos, and I’ve grappled with feeling obligated/guilty about not putting more out. Only recently have I begun to feel creative again.

One thing I know for sure is that I feel a deep, newfound, informed sense of responsibility: to you, to my collaborators, and to the work I put out. That said, who I am at my core – silly, classy, kinda cringey?? – will never go away. I’m excited about the ideas starting to pop into my head, but it all feels sorta new. And good, I hope.
.
So. I’m gonna take a lil’ break from social media to settle and work. I couldn’t care less about my follower count, but I have *such* affection for every one of you weirdos that supports and likes my stuff. I’ll be back soon.
