I did not take home the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series but for me, this night @criticschoice Awards was a mountaintop moment. I’m so grateful to @appletv and @themorningshow @mediaresstudio for giving me the opportunity to make one of my childhood dreams come true. To lay my work along side my peers and be recognized by people I genuinely respect. And thanks to my children @jake_sharff and @lenathereal514922 who have seen mama over the last 6 years fall down and get up, fall down and get up. Let my journey be a lesson to you: There’s nothing you cannot do if you put your mind to it.

Work is stressful sometimes- but especially when you’re away from family. It’s a challenge to stay grounded. But thanks to @santamonicaproper and their extraordinary service and staff, I was able to find a place to relax and feel like I was at home. Their suites are beautiful, spacious; the food was SO delicious and the ethos of the hotel is perfectly aligned with my desire for serenity. I slept like a baby and had a fresh cup of strong coffee every morning. My favorite… then I got some exercise in the workout room. (Check out my Instastory)
The restaurant and bar is chef’s kiss! (Try the gluten free banana bread for breakfast!). They even have a yummy bath soak in the room from @suryabymartha that invites relaxation, peaceful surrender and calm and after a long day in those heels- I needed it.
I cant wait to try the @suryabymartha spa when I go back.
