Katherine Heigl Instagram – I wanted to celebrate the incredible artists and mentors whose classes have shaped my artistic journey, and share some of my work from those valuable lessons!
A special shoutout to the Kara Bullock Art School online @karabullockart , whom I love and found through one of my favorite artists, Robert Kelley. The enchanting ‘Pastel Pet Portraits’ class by @mikaworks was a wonderful inspiration for creating a memorial picture of Louis, my brother-in-law Frank’s beloved cat, and capturing the personality of my Dad’s dog, Otto.
Kate Morgan’s @katemorganarts class ‘The Aristocrats’ led me to explore the intricate beauty of mixed media collage, and @robertkelleyartist tutelage in his ‘Charcoal Portrait on Canvas’ lesson inspired my fourth picture.
The oil painting instruction at @domestika_en has ignited much of my work, and these artists have helped me to improve my skills in the medium:
