Kayla Compton Instagram – If you had talked to me a few months ago before I had officially decided I was about to direct my first professionally made short film you would have heard a lot of negative talk around it. “No way” and “we’re still in the middle of a pandemic” and “nobody’s gonna wanna do it” and “it’s no good” etc. etc. . Somehow I got the nerve to just jump in and do it! Maybe it was @dpanabaker convincingly and effectively telling me I HAD TO over and over again (my sincere thanks for that Dan!) . I was shocked at how on board, helpful and just plain wonderful everyone involved was. So many people wanted to be a part of the project and they all believed in me and it’s still overwhelming to think about. I am truly grateful for this cast & crew & all my friends who supported me throughout! . We are quickly making our way through post production which means we’re almost done! 🤯 I can’t wait to share the finished product with you all!! Stay tuned!
