When @gregnaughton1 and I first started dating over 20 years ago, he introduced me to @martin-sexton 🤯. Martin’s music and musicality has always blown me away…the way he uses his instrument, his falsetto, his whistle and just the down-right timbre of his voice is untouched, not to mention the way he plays the guitar and piano! I joined Greg’s band @thesweetremains this past Thursday night for an all Bob Dylan tribute benefit concert for #hugyourfarmer @flynncenter in Burlington VT, and it was such a blast and an honor. The line-up was crazy. @martinsexton let us sing back-up on his special version of #Wagonwheel which he set over the #LetItBe chords on the piano. So incredibly cool. In this rehearsal video, I am doing my best “I’m just a cool folk singer” impression. In addition, I sang #blowininthewind with @thesweetremains and felt the lyrics more deeply than ever. Thanks @richprice00 and @thesweetremains for inviting out of my comfort zone and giving me the opportunity to be genuinely star-struck. 🩵🩵
