Kelsey Barnard Clark Instagram – We’ve been hit by the bug over here and have been rotating bed-ridden days since Saturday. I know everyone handles sickness and being home differently, but I’ve learned that I handle it best when I lean into it. Celebrate the home I’m (stuck) in by keeping it clean, quiet, cozy and calm. Tuck in moments of work if I can, but allow myself to reschedule and put aside. When I finally felt better I went straight to the store to bring life back in our home- and me- with fresh flowers. At home with Monroe today and I am so glad I spruced up when I felt well. It’s definitely the little things for me.
This big, beautiful green and white arrangement in my living room was gifted to me by my dear friend @chefkarenakunowicz right after my James Beard nom nearly 2 weeks ago. I’ve changed the water out daily, stripped the stems and replaced the dead roses and ranunculus with a 3 for $12 bundle from Publix.
