Kelsey Edwards Instagram – your reality is created by the beliefs you have about yourself, other people and the world around you… but not all of those beliefs are necessarily true, and not all of those beliefs are serving or helping you.
for example, if you have the belief that you have to work really hard and grind nonstop to achieve your dream, that’s the reality you’ll create for yourself.
if you have a belief that the only way to be successful in life is to go to college and get a 9-5 job, you’ll see that mirrored back to you in your reality.
if you have the belief that everyone leaves you and you’re never going to find your dream partner… you’ll create that reality 😬
this kinda stings because it means we have a lot of responsibility for how things play out in our lives… but also. it’s kinda cool.
at any point in time, you get to decide to create a different reality for yourself. one that matches your ideal life and the ideal version of you.
it’s a process to do this—you have to intentionally rewire your brain over time, through repetition and conscious effort. but it is absolutely possible.
it’s how i went from questioning myself constantly and overthinking, to trusting my intuition, taking fast action & making powerful decisions that propel my life in the direction i want it to go.
it’s how i went from being so afraid of the unknown & needing to control the outcome to throwing myself into a random country alone with very little planned, trusting that i’ll figure it out.
it’s how i went from begging someone to see me as valid and “pick me” as an actor and musician, to choosing to tell my story and create films/art that make a global impact.
it’s how i have manifested countless opportunities in my life time and time again.
your entire reality shifts when your beliefs about it shift.
