It was 10 years ago today that my father passed. He died on World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (today) and it was also Father’s Day of that year as well.
I took that as a big sign to keep going with my legislation to curb elder abuse state to state. Getting the Kasem Cares Visitation Bill Passed in 22 states!
12 states with my amazing Kasem Cares Team and 9 states adopted a version of our bill! We are now moving full steam ahead with Senator Rubio @sensusanrubio of California to put even more protections for our elderly and most vulnerable.
