Kimberly-Sue Murray Instagram – THROWBACK TO JUNE 2023
When I was 16, my high school hosted the Gala Pulsar – an award ceremony to celebrate the students’ achievements (both in academics and in the arts). I was nominated, but lost. I remember needing that validation so badly knowing I was going to pursue a career in acting.
18 years later, I was asked to be the honorary president and I had the opportunity to share my journey and the many lessons I learned along the way with all the students and nominees. I chose to talk about failure and how it, once you embrace it, allows us to grow and thrive.
